Political Science

Randy Newman was just one The Colbert Report (7 min segment here). I looked into it just a minute and found out the song I thought he may have written just for The Colbert Report was actually quite old... So without further ado, Randy Newman circa 1972.

So, I hate Randy Newman. I really, really loathe the man. I hate his voice, I hate his obvious lyrics, and I hate everything he's done for any move I've ever seen him in. The Family Guy parody of him was pretty much dead on.

So I didn't watch this video. Until now. And I'm glad I did. Apparently in the 70's Randy kicked some ass. Because that song is fantastic.

Good choice.

Scott you are sooooo wrong! Randy Newman is great! I love Randy Newman! He sang "You've got a friend in me"....theme song to Toy Story (by the most awesome Pixar), which is one of the BEST movies ever made!

Hey Rob have you ever thought of looking at Pixar for a cool awesome fantastic job using your art technology degree?!?! I know, what a great idea right???

Randy's still kickin' ass; those idiot "Family Guy" guys know balls about his studio work. "Political Science" shows how timeless his music is, and his brand new song, "A Few Words In Defense of My Country" is fantastic.
