So Long...

Farewell, Auf Weidersehen, Good Night...
Adieu, adieu, to you and you and you...

So it's 8 o'clock on Friday morning. Why am I up? Well because I have to pack. I'm supposed to be at my druggie camp this morning bettween 9:30 and 10:00. Figured I should wake up a bit early and pack and find directions to where it is I'm supposed to be. You know, be responsible and the like. I think I should leave it up to all of you to post AT LEAST one interesting happening or trivia or whatever while I'm gone. And you can then comment to eachother as well! I'll be gone until next Friday, studies say it takes a full week to get kids to say "no" and after that they're good until next year... or something.

Other Updates
Josh's wedding is coming up, we're gonna have a party of sorts when I get back next weekend. His wedding website is here.

I finished the new Harry Potter book yesterday (Scott's Copy). So I don't want to hear any more crap about me going to the Harry Potter party and not even purchasing a book, I'm still done before a lot of people. I liked it. A lot.

I picked up my books at UIS yesterday. Only cost me like $75 'cause one of my two classes didn't have any books and the other I managed to find all four used.

I'll help you out. If you can't think of anything that you think is interesting enough to share (and serious, what do I ever say that's actually interesting?) Go to Fark and just tell what you think about one of those stories. It's good stuff, all true yet ridiculous news stories updated everyday.

Later!

No Rob posts? Ok, time for Scott to take over. I could probably even get into his blogger and make posts for him. Should I? I leave it to the blogging public at large.

However, I do think that there needs to be some banter in his absence. So yack it up you bastards!

Freemama vs The Hot Weather

I agree with Scott. He seems to be the guy to see around here about getting things done. Let's chat about how great he is.

Thank you Amanda, you seem cool. Are you also hot? Because I'm going to picture you as being pretty fine. And also so correct, what with the acknowledging my greatness and all and...

OK FINE I MADE AMANDA UP! BUT PEOPLE THINK THAT! ALL THE LIVE-LONG DAY THEY THINK IT!

According to the Yahoo! news site, Silvia Johnson, 40, pleaded guilty to sexual charges for having sex with high school boys at parties where she also supplied drugs and alcohol.

Johnson told police she wanted to be a "cool mom."

That's hot.

Anyone else here's mom bought them alcohol and drugs when they were in high school?

My mom let us drink and we could smoke cigarettes...but I can't imagine her ever "doing" any of them! Ewwww....

In other news, work still sucks...but we're getting reviews today, so I might have more to talk about later.

(OK, Scott, back to you...)

Thank you for that report Kimmy, now we'll turn to Tim with sports. Take it away Tim,

Uh...Lance Armstrong won the Tour de France for the 7th time in a row. Big shocker there. He's now retiring to focus on his new career: bonin' Sheryl Crow.

The NHL is back and no one cares except Canadians, Michiganites, and idiots, but I repeat myself.

And finally, in the sports movie world, Billy Bob Thorton played the angry coach in the remake of Bad News Bears. This fits well with Thorton's new career goal of only taking roles which allow him to swear at children.

Scott, back to you.

Scott said...

Thank you Tim, for that timely report. What was that... 29 hours after I kicked it over to you? The last time a network had that much dead air they named it CBS.

Moving on, Amanda what can we expect this week in weather?

Anonymous said...

Well Scott, the forecast looks like it's finally going to cool off from the "Roots" style 1800's slavery hot that it's been for the past several days. Instead it's finally going to be "fat people venture outside" temperate.

In nation wide weather, people on the coasts continue to be surprised when they get hit with hurricanes, the weather channel continues to employ the rest of the nation's reject weathermen, and anchors continue to blame the weathergirl for weather they don't like.

Back to you Scott, you fine sexy man.

In other news: a British plumber was fined and given a community service order Tuesday after being captured on hidden cameras urinating into a vase in a customer's attic and pouring the contents into the central heating system.

The plumber denied the charges, claiming he had a medical condition which meant he needed the toilet regularly and had been overcome by the sound of running water.

Scott, do you have any annoying medical conditions?

Scott said...

Newscaster banter:

I have the amusing medical condition of speaking in great detail when asleep. I've done quite a bit of talking apparently. These are the kinds of things people tell me when they've spent the night in close proximity to me. Other than that, I wouldn't ever know. I've always wanted to videotape myself sleeping. I think it'd be pretty interesting to hear some of this stuff for myself.

I mean, I've even spoken spanish! Now that's something to hear; subconcious ramblings in foriegn languages.

Entertaining news cast I guess. Scott, if you were really as smart as you say you are, you would not have told us you made Amanda up!

You and your sassafras. Why can't I have an imaginary correspondant who totally wants to jump me like Germany jumped Poland. (Hehehe, I'm POLand... POLE, get it? I mean penis.) I think you're just jealous because Peter, my other non-existant journalist is after Breyn. Don't feel left out, I'm sure some really great imaginary person will come along and just sweep you off your feet. It helps to keep an open mind.

I feel so left out.

Ah, but Kimmy, you're my best REAL reporter. Did you see that dressing down I gave Tim? That's not to be taken lightly. Not at all. But with you I gave you a "thank you for your report" and I totally meant it. You're by far the best Kims. Live it up.

I appreciate the nice comment. I take this job seriously, you know. It's not every newscaster that can mix sheer talent with smokin' hot good looks like mine.

Now that you mention Tim's dressing gown, I thought you should know that my favorite shade of blush is missing. I have a few suspects, but I have to admit that he was looking especially rosy this afternoon.

And now in celebrity news:

Times are tough for the Alec Baldwin's former flame. Dateline: Evansville, Indiana -- A woman who had been drinking and unhappy with the way her son cleaned his bedroom allegedly punched the boy in the head and attacked him with an extension cord and an ashtray, police said.

Kimberly Basinger, 34, of Evansville, was arrested Tuesday and charged with child neglect resulting in injury and public intoxication. Her son, whose age was not released, suffered bruises near his right eye, an abrasion on the back of one leg and had some bumps on his head, according to an Evansville police report.

The confrontation began when Basinger checked her son's bedroom that she asked him to clean earlier Tuesday evening, which he did, the report said.

But Basinger was not pleased with his effort and yelled at the boy. According to the report, she punched him in the head and stomach and knocked him to the floor.

She grabbed an extension cord and whipped it at his legs. She also beat him with an ashtray, the report said.

The boy pushed his mother away and ran to a neighbor's house, the report said. The boy told police that his mother had been drinking. Basinger was being held in the Vanderburgh County Jail on Wednesday night on a $10,000 cash bond.

It's a shame when bad actresses do bad things.

(p.s. - yes...I know that's not really THE Kim Basinger.)

Wow Scott I always felt that Peter had a thing for me, I mean with all the weird excuses he had to "talk" to me..i mean come on, is he really THAT interested in whether or not I like Spam..I think not.

(Since he's "imaginary" I'd like to pretend he looks like Brendan Fraser or maybe a younger Brad Pitt)

Rob...I'm a little disappointed with you...I mean come on if you were really a true blogger at heart you would of posted while you were at camp...where's the love. (it's not like you were busy or anything all week)

Breyn

OUCH Breyn! That was a low blow to Rob! I mean, he would have had to break a rule to get to use the internet, and Rob would NEVER do that!

Although he would have posted by now, I mean he IS home now!
