Aviopro Inc.Nothing. Struck out at every one of them. Most I got was Best Buy said I could work the floor for $8.50 an hour and half of them said, "Send your resume and we'll keep it onfile." So today I'm going a different route. I've got 4 or 5 agencys and right after I go to get food I'm gonna call them all. ALL of them... that's right. Mom gave me the tip to watch out for ones that have placement fees, and other than that I'm gonna see which one or two can give me the most confident solution. Or I can go through Adecco and get some good acid or LSD. So I hopefully can make some sort of appointment for this afternoon, but who knows... we'll see how it goes.

Ummm... but I feel like I need to give you something random.... So here it is. This list cracked me up. I read through it like twice.

That picture of the Hawaiian Tropic Swimsuit competition is a riot. There is one genuine whore in the picture. Can you spot her? She's the one in the very front all the way to the left. All of the other girls are interacting with each other and are being silly. You know that whore girl was seated and striking that pose even before any of the other girls even got into that room. She's practically in her own picture. I just want to disfigure her.
And someone needs to tell Adecco Tracy that she needs to lay off the drugs... it's not healthy and not very attractive either.
NO, ABORT, DO NOT ENTER. Under penalty of death, do not work at BestBuy. Haven't I told you my stories about that place? I don't care what AWR was like, this place is worse. The bureaucracy and bullshit will try to swallow your soul in one heart wrenching gulp. And the thing is, it'll almost succeed. I dodged that bullet for 3 months before I decided that BestBuy can Take their 'thousands of possibilities' and shove them up their collective ass.
You'll never get a break of more than one day per week. Even part time work tallies up around 40 hours per week. And your schedual is different every day of the week, and then different the next week. It's not like you just work 3-5 today and 4-8 tomorrow. It's like 6:15 to 8:37, then 12:00 PM to close. Rediculous. So if you ever want to be able to plan on something upcomming, forget BestBuy.
And for good measure take a dump in the urine test they give, then tell them that you won't work in their 'hostile work environment'.

Onto the lighter part of my comments. I wanted to seperate them, or rather, the voices dictated that I do so. I'm not one to argue with the voices. Apparently Adecco has their employees test to see if they can fit a pool ball in their mouth. If they can they become the company's face. They then go on to prove, over and over, in thousands of photo shoots, that their mouths can indeed still accomplish this feat.
I think it's pretty funny that you applied to Computer Deli, I get a lot of computer parts there and I can tell you, you don't want to work there either. Not unless you want to be surrounded by mostly bald overweight techies talking about the latest system bus on the new Asus motherboard.
Here's a fun thing I can do, give me a copy of your resume, I'll see if I can get it sent out as a student of Robert Morris College. We have a kick ass Carrer Services department that basically just finds jobs for people. It'd take some doing, but it sounds like a challenge I'd enjoy. And the added risk of getting in serious trouble only multiplies that enjoyment.
One last thing, that list is hilarious. And if I were to write for a villian, I think I would consult the list, give him all those qualities, and then try to figure out if my hero can defeat him. I seriously laughed pretty hard at some of it, then kicked myself for not thinking of it first.

That gothic chick picture is kinda scary. Bother way, I'm getting tired of seeing these Adecco ads now they have another one meet Tracy with that smile you can take that picture and use for a joker playing card. These people must all be on drugs.

Ro-Sorry, but I beg to differ...I think they all look like whores. Except, maybe, for the one who looks like she suffered some serious burn trauma to her hands. She's just sad.
Oh, and I have to 2nd the veto against Rob working at Best Buy. A friend's sister worked there for, oh, 10-12 years, and then they fired her because she made too much (rather than giving her a new "job title").
Wow, I'm gone from AWR for 2 days and we lost HOW many people? 5? 6? Yowza.

I'd like to put in an application for number 109 on the Evil Overlord list:
I will see to it that plucky young lads/lasses in strange clothes and with the accent of an outlander shall REGULARLY climb some monument in the main square of my capital and denounce me, claim to know the secret of my power, rally the masses to rebellion, etc. That way, the citizens will be jaded in case the real thing ever comes along.
I'm not sure I can do "plucky" but climbing and rallying are already on my resume so I'm obviously a shoe-in for the position.
