What to buy at The Buy

Alright, so Christmas season is coming and I thought I'd start letting you know what Rob's found at Best Buy this week worth mentioning. For example: BATMAN BEGINS just came out on Tuesday. Great Movie. Everyone buy it. Its like $15 and you get two free cokes with it. Also, if you have a gamer in the family (and a nice computer.... really nice computer) F.E.A.R. came out Tuesday as well. Greatest First Person Shooter I've ever played. And its as gory and scarry as they come. NOT for small children, or older computers (the game would easily destroy either.)

Rob's made up Word of the Day:
W.W.B.D. = What Would Batman Do?
Jesus was a great man, and if everyone followed WWJD the world would be a better place. Problem is everyone doesn't follow that paradigm, so we must adapt. At times we must overcompensate because of others, and its these times I think we should really ask ourselves, What would Batman do?

Anyways, still really busy... trying to work things out here at work. They gave me some extra projects that don't make any sense, so I'm going to have to make something up.

Tim: Who's got two thumbs and doesn't have the bird flu? This guy.

Jake: I try to avoid reading most of your comments. Sometimes they're just sandwiched between people I care about and I read them unintentionally.

Josh and Ro: I'm with ya.

Phil: Wow. You actually helped. I started with number #3 'cause I had just finished reading that book. So know this: you helped me with my graduate midterm. Thanks!

Melinda: you are so right. Chicago Sucks. Who would win, Batman vs. Darkwing Duck? Hmmm....

Rob. Get home soon. I'm terrified by this friggin game. Every tiny noise creeps me out, I've taken all the swords and stockpiled them next to the computer. I thought about your tama's too but I'm not very good with them.

Who's got two thumbs and hasn't quoted The Office on a blog yet? This guy.

Now, are we talking fun, campy 70's TV show Batman or dark, gritty, Frank Miller "Return of the Dark Knight" Batman? 'Cause if we all went by the latter's philosophy, there would be a lot more pounded dudes around.

If we went by the former's, we would all be a little chubby and run around with large cartoon bombs over our heads.

Wow, right now Phil's blazing up the charts to my #1 friend spot. He's helping me with my midterm, what have you other chumps done for me lately?

Moved to a different city, thereby getting out of your hair and letting you concentrate on your midterm.

P.S. I noticed you no longer use word verification for comments, yet you get no blog spam. Is that because of your different comment format or are you using the cool trick they talked about on TWIT a while back? Do share.

Whoa...check out Rob's mom! I want to see Philip's smile, too...it must be a good one.

I would love to help you with your midterm, but I graduated from high school in 1992, and my brain pretty much turned to mush since then. Plus, I've been at AWR for over three years now, and you know this place has corrupted the few remaining brain cells I had.

Give some props to Ro for goodness sake! She helped you write a PAGE of your A-paper and she gets no love on the blogosphere? That's wrong.

On a side note, speaking of AWR, because as much as you try to block us out of your world, it's never going to happen...we're having our "recognition banquet" on November 11. When I first started here, it was a week before Christmas. Last year...it was late November...and now it's at the friggin' beginning of the month!? You want to know why? Because they don't want to call it a CHRISTmas party, or even a HOLIDAY party and have it anywhere near December because of all the people who were OFFENDED by the term CHRISTmas party. So...now it's just the 'recognition' party, where only the people in the call center get recognized, not us lowly AWR morons.

Batman would never stand for this. I don't think Jesus would either, but I digress.

Back to work.

"What would Batman do?" Like I'd ever make the ideal manifestation of humanity a DC Comics character. It's an oxymoron!

The recent Batman movie that just came out was a very good movie. It was diffrent then the other Batman movies were. The only problem I had with it as usual everything was in the dark and you couldn't see everything what was going on.

About that Banquet who cares I might go I might not. Its no big deal to me anymore its gotten pretty borring. I heard that alot of people didn't show up for it last year and everyone was leaving before 10pm.
