The Music Scene and my Eurolog

Sometimes things should just stay dead. Or have never been born in the first place. Can you tell me what these 3 things have in common: That's right, they're all trying to make a comeback. I heard the limp bizkit song on the radio and just started laughing. The lyrics are exactly what you expect from Mr. Durst. Also, do you know what's cool at concerts nowadays? They don't hold up lighters anymore. Everyone waves their cell phone in the air - I thought it was pretty cool the first time I saw it at the Jimmy Eat World Concert.

Lastly, I've got my first post for my Eurolog up. It's not so much a blog, as a project. I'm going to transfer my Journal I kept in Europe from this crappy little notebook full of chicken scratch that I wrote while half asleep on trains, into something entertaining and copy it into a nice leatherbound book I picked up in Italy. So as I'm working on it, I'll post it on the website and ask for comments. Now the comments on that site are completely different than the comments on this site. Here we're simply keeping in touch and stroking my ego. There I really want some feedback about what isn't clear, what you would like to hear more about (I can elaborate on ANY point in the journal), what is boring and I should trim, etc. I welcome any comments at all, and all questions about the trip and such so I know how I should write my finished product. So if you're looking for another time waster - Rob's trying to pull through for you. I'll put a note in this blog when I update that one.

P.S.
Eurolog is updated.

Spice Girl reunion? I'm so there. Don't tell Josh - he'll forget all about this wedding stuff and become a Spice Head. He loved the Spice Girls. LOVED them. He had books, I kid you not.

So...my favorite was Sporty Spice. How about you?

Sporty Spice?! Blasphemy. She looked like a man, an English man. With a pointy nose and the standard English bad teeth. No, I was always a Baby Spice guy, especially now. Have you seen her recently? Damn. I was also a huge fan of Posh. Seriously -rwrr-. In the eloquent words of Paris Hilton: "That's hot".

And I had their album too... nothing wrong with that. Books goes a bit far, but I'd imagine they're chock full of pictures in which case I forgive the lad. The saddest part of this whole sad affair? That I would actually consider going to a Spice Girls concert provided I could see them well enough. (Josh call me, we'll get tickets).

Ginger Spice gave me hope that even a trashy, no-talent, ass-clown could become a major singing star. Well, major star for at least a year. I watched Spice World on cable the other night. Ahhh, it's nice to be able to afford luxuries like cable tv, so I can wallow in these guilty pleasures.

I vote for Scary Spice....or Old Spice.

Sorry I haven't posted in so long...I've been in the hospital. Fun stuff being pregnant! I have a week to catch up on!

I am dissapointed. I haven't commented in a week! An ENTIRE week and I'm still in third place, just as I was a week ago...come on people, you're not even making this challening! The only problem is now I am so far behind Ro and Scott I would have to post several times every day to catch up, which is not likely (sorry Rob).

Sorry you got in trouble with the police. How on earth did you manage to get out of not having money at the gas station! Now that is smooth! Watch out for Springfield Police, I know several and they are CRAZY people! Downright CRAZY! The Sangamon County cops are awesome, the ones I've met. I use to flirt with them when they would come into Subway for free food. Most of the county cops were hot too...I wonder if that is a requirement....

I would just hire a vigilanty to kill the annoying office girl! Irritating and stupid has to be serious crime that comes with the harshest of punishements!

I LOVED the Spice Girls! I saw their movie twice in the $1.50 theater! I think either Scary Spice or Baby Spice was my favorite. Sporty Spice scared me, just downright scared me!

I was never a fan of the backstreet boys. I liked their music, but I still to this day can not tell you the difference between Backstreet Boys and N'Sync. They sounded the same to me! I have no idea which one Nick Lachey was in...oh well, guess I wasn't a typical teenage girl!

I totally think I should get two points for this very long comment. I have been through hell throwing everything up and being dehydrated! I didn't have computer access in the hospital, hey, maybe that is something I can make millions on...internet in the hospital rooms. I called it first!

I don't have a problem with the Backstreet Boys making a come back their ok with me. Oh yeah! botherway, Mr. Rob I finally saw the 90 minute episode of Smallville over the weekend and it was left with a cliffhanger who survive the meteor shower. If I can remember haven't we've been there done that already in a another movie? Yes! Armageddon meets Smallville. One more thing, who or what was coming out of that space craft at the end?

My guess: *Brainiac. The evil Kryptonian computer that searched the Galaxy for Kal'el. It also caused the destruction of Krypton itself. And you thought it was a bitch when your computer crashed...

Screw the Spice Girls...who wants to see them make a comeback!

If anyone should make a comeback it should be New Kids On The Block!!

That's right. NKOTB! I saw them in concert when I was 8 years old and I'd see them again at 24!
