In keeping with the holiday theme:

I would like to thank you all--for being so wonderful and supportive, warm and caring, loyal and honest... etc etc etc. But now since we've discussed all the things that I have and am thankful for. Lets now switch gears to the things that I have not.

I need some help with my Christmas wish list. The parents and grandparents are asking what I want... So here's what I got so far:
Steamer/Rice Cooker
World Peace
Some Car Wash Gift Certificates
Bush's Conviction as a War Criminal and Impeachment
A Heavy Bag (So I have something to beat besides my girlfriend... therapist says it'd do me some good)
a 2006 Pontiac Solstice (Gotta go with GM 'cause of dad, and that car does look pretty sweet)

So like I said, my list needs some work. I need some more ideas (some serious ones wouldn't be so bad either... if you got 'em.) I hope everyone has a happy Wednesday! SMALLVILLE'S ON TONIGHT! and Southpark! I'll try and get something interesting up on this blog next time. But hey, at least I post (ahem... Tim). Later!

MAJOR UPDATE!!!

I got a new name added to the list as of today:
"Willie B Little" from Chattanooga, TN
This name double sucks, 'cause it doesn't matter if its first name or last name in front.
and yes, I realize I'm immature.

Hey bevis, I think he already has something to beat besides his girlfriend. Heh heh heh heh.

Speaking of immature, I couldn't resist. "Something to beat besides my girlfriend" come on, you are asking for much worse. If it weren't for the fact that your mom reads this, it just might have been that bad.

Meanwhile in another universe where I'm on topic: After 3 and a half years of pissing and moaning it's finally going to happen. This Christmas is the year of the iPod. I KNOW it! My mom was dropping the subtle clues like "hey you know that iPod you want, what does it look like and who sells it?" Subtle like a freight train. But I love it, my iPod, my own, my precious. Oh, and I love my mom too. - Scott

Rob,

I think you need to add "a new and awesome job" and "silky shirts with dragons on them so everyone knows I'm into taekwondo" to your Christmas list. You could also ask for the Homestar Runner figurines (that way if you still have your old and less than awesome job, you can at least perk up the workplace with a happy statuette of the Poopsmith).

Lisa

PS - Do you want the extended edition of LotR? It comes out a few short weeks before Christmas . . .
PPS - What's everyone doing for my birthday? Let's have a New Year's party or something . . .

Please, Please, please be one of those creepy kids that are way into martial arts for their own good. It really would make my day. You know what else would make your day? A crepe maker, lifetime supply of nutella, a bunch of doner gift certificates, some quickdraws, assurance that Ro's dad never reads your blog, and more emo-ness in your life, I think that everyone could stand for a good dose of emo. Oh and some Dance Dance Revolution lessons, they would go great with a silky dragon shirt.

Yeah...way to keep the politics out of it. *cough*hipocrite*cough*

That said, I do like the idea of "car wash gift certificates". The "Silver Lightning" needs to be a little more slippery to get the extra MPH on the interstate! ;)

Rob I've found the perfect gift for you...

Lord knows you aren't going to get these on your own, you poor skinny hairy man. I think it would be a good idea to put it on your letter to Santa, I'm sure he would understand. Wouldn't this impress the ladies?! :)

Rob-
I'm posting just like you asked me too. I'm also in your house as I'm writing this... don't worry, everything is in its proper place... well except for the few things that I borrowed and don't ever plan on returning.
Josh-
I can assure you that my dad does not read Rob's blog. But now that you've given me the idea....
And Dance Dance Revolution lessons would be awesome. After he's done with them he would be a true nerdy FOB- what with the Taekwondo and the Dance Dance Revolution. Now all he has to do it learn to break dance and beat Mario in 10 minutes.

Scott: iPod, eh Scotty? Not bad my friend, not bad at all. I think that whole "Mom's not being able to be subtle and keep secrets" thing is something that just happens to all mothers. Like if in the birthing process it throws a chemical imbalance all outta wack or something... let me just say--my favorite quote to my mother is "Subtlety is a virtue."

Lisa: If I'm not out of here soon... send your husband to kick my ass. I've gotta get out of this job. And kudos on the LotR DVDs and Homestar Stuff. That's always a sure shot.

Josh: Doners = Gross, I had a set of quickdraws but sold them to Phil, and I hate Emo. Other than that, I'll take DDR lessons when you move back to Jerseyville. Now Crepes and Nutella is no joking manner. If you're really my friend - you'll buy it for me.

Adam: It was a joke, hardly an actual arguement being presented. I keep my daily Bushisms as an away message and not on here for that reason. However, an overwhelming majority of us are anti-bush and it will show every now and then. Its frickin hard to come up with stuff to write about everyday without excluding one of the biggest and easiest topic. Sorry, but it is frustrating. But as far as the "Silver Lighting" is concerned... congradulations - I think you just offically named my car. ;)

Breyn: Awesome. Awesome. Awesome.

Ro: Don't I give you enough? Why must you take, and take, and take from me? When is it going to stop? Oh yeah, thanks for finally posting after being MIA for a week. And I'm working on the breakin' and I've got Mario (1) down to 18 minutes so far.

(P.S. FOB is an Asian slang for "Fresh Off the Boat." Someone who is uber-asian as if they just got here.)

On the subject of gifts.. That is some list. I am sure you will get something for Christmas but I wouldn't count on those wheels..... For all you guys out there, Mothers are the one thing you guys can always count on to be there for you so be careful how you speak of us. We are many things to you, the list would be endless. You only get one and we love you unconditionally, forever.
What I am thankful for mostly is my two wonderful kids, which are now all grown up.. well Jamie is anyways. My husband, who can build anything and is solid as a rock, the rest of my extended family and my friends which is always there to listen to me..... I am also thankful my son has nice friends, good co-workers and an awesome girlfriend... yes I do read this stuff Mom
